Malinda Wagstaff

Soprano Malinda Wagstaff has been hailed as "a voice to keep listening for." (Spokesman-Review) This season, she will perform as Rosalinde in "Die Fledermaus" with OperaBend, Amelia in "Un Ballo in Maschera" with Ping and Woof Opera, and Gerhilde in "Die Walküre" with the American Wagner Festival. Recently, she appeared with Festival Napa Valley, Spokane Symphony, and Puget Sound Concert Opera in roles and scenes from "Fidelio," "Ariadne auf Naxos," "Il Corsaro," and "A Sea Symphony." She has won awards from the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition, Seattle Opera Guild Competition, Musicfest Northwest, and Orpheus Competition.
